The first Asian-Pacific Health Qigong instructor training class, hosted by the International Health Qigong Federation and undertaken by Singapore Qigong Shi Ba Shi Association, will be opened in Singapore from November 3 to November 10, 2013. More than sixty instructors from twelve associations, including those from Australia, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and Chinese Taipei, signed up for such activities as theory seminars, exercise training and technical degree examination.
　　In this training class, Professor Yang Bolong from Beijing Sport University will introduce how to teach Health Qigong and demonstrate and explain moves of such Health Qigong as Daoyin Yangsheng Gong 12 Methods based on his decades of teaching experience. Associate Professor Wang Zhen from Shanghai University of Sport, a member of the project team about Yi Jin Jing and Mawangdui Daoyin Shu, will explain and demonstrate the two exercises based on his experience in creating them. Technical degree examination for Health Qigong has also been arranged by the training class.
　　The training class was highly prized by Singapore's government. Mr. Wang Zhihao, Minister for Home Affairs from Singapore Prime Minister's Office and Mr. Zhang Huobin, member of Singapore's parliament and mayor of the North West District, will attend and speak at activities of the training class; Ms. Gao Lanjie, director of Secretariat of the International Health Qigong Federation attended all the activities.
　　The first Asian-Pacific Health Qigong instructor training class, held by the International Health Qigong Federation, was actively responded and strongly supported by countries and regions in the Asian-Pacific region. Asian-Pacific Health Qigong instructor training classes will be held once a year starting this year. A number of Health Qigong organizations are actively applying for holding the second training class in 2014.
