On July 1st 2017, the Health Qigong Federation UK sent representatives to participate in the Fling Festival held at Hyland Park of Chelmsford, England. During this event, Health Qigong was assimilated into one of the British mainstream traditional festivals, and was warmly welcomed by British people.
Compared to the former festivals, this is the first time the traditional Chinese culture is combined with the mainstream music festival inUK. On that day, the Chinese culture camp arranged some workshops, such as the Chinese drums, Health Qigong, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese medicine, organic skin care, and so on.
According to the official statistics, the Chinese culture camp had the largest number of visitors among all the workshops. Health Qigong workshop, hosted by Tony Childs, the Technical Director and Coach of the HQFUK, attracted a big batch of audience and Health Qigong enthusiasts.
The organizers of this festival warmly invited HQFUK to participate in this famous British musical festival again next year!
