The training class included a theory seminar on how to become a qualified instructor and exercises of such Health Qigong as Yi Jin Jing, Mawangdui Daoyin Shu, and 12-Routine Exercises. Experts from the Chinese Health Qigong Association would introduce practicing methods, theories, skills and teaching methods ofthe three exercises in a systematic way. Meanwhile, they would also introduce how to practice the exercises, how to teach the exercises and how to be a qualified Health Qigong instructor. The training class also included examination of exercises and test of teaching capabilities. The experts would comment on the demonstration courses and offer advice for improvement. In the first lesson of the class, Mr. Wang Lan, secretary-general of the International Health Qigong Federation, introduced the status quo of the promotion of Health Qigong and gave a lecture on the theme of "I Love, I Dedicate, I Feel Happy", expounding on the knack of Health Qigong and the qualities Health Qigong instructors should possess. The trainees would sample the principles, features and effectiveness of the exercises while listening to the lessons and practicing.
According to the trainees, the training class is characterized by rich content, qualified instructors, and scientific and reasonable arrangement, from which they benefited a lot. Ms. Pascal from Canada International Wellness Culture Association, who attended the intercontinental instructor training for the first time, liked Health Qigong very much and felt refreshing and physically and mentally comfortable when listening to the lessons and practicing. When knowing that she was selected to give a demonstration lesson, she was very excited. "I am very happy and a little nervous to be commented by experts. But I believe I can do it well, and I will be tempered and improved." Trainees from U.S. Health Qigong Association who had attended the first American Health Qigong instructor training class told the instructors that they had a deeper experience and understanding and improved their teaching capabilities by digesting and absorbing what they had learned in the last training and practicing and teaching in accordance with the guidance of instructors. When they attended the training again, their horizon, knowledge and skills improved significantly. More importantly, they found their goal, mastered the teaching methods and learned how to improve themselves. Thus, they thought the trip was worth it. An U.S. trainee was reluctant to leave after the class, he told the instructor through an interpreter, "Thank you very much. I have not only learned how to practice the exercises, but have experienced the change of Yin and Yang and excess and deficiency physically and mentally. Chinese philosophy is erudite. I have gained a more profound understanding and a direct experience of it. The excited trainees also looked forward to the following Mawangdui Daoyin Shu and 12-Routine Exercises.
Top priority was given to instructors when promoting Heath Qigong globally. To promote Health Qigong globally, the first international, European and American instructor training classes were successfully held successively in Beijing, China, Brussels, Belgium, and New Jersey, U.S. by Chinese Health Qigong Association in December 2011 and August 2012.
