Secondly, guide qi with mind and conduct form with qi.

After regulating form with thought and smoothing qi with form, exercisers should further use the consciousness to the training and regulation of qi. With sufficient qi of Dantian, guide qi with mind and conduct form with qi, and then reach the exercising state of form, qi and mind forming an organic whole. Specific methods: use the consciousness to guide the clear qi of Dantian to separate two ways from the abdomen and chest, one way is to go outward from neck and head and connect with the heaven, and another way is to reach the hands through shoulders and arms and go outward to connect with the heaven. Meanwhile, in the ascending of clear qi, qi follows mind and drives hands to turn inward and lift, as well as stretch body upward, as if supporting sky with hands. At the same time, use the consciousness to lead turbid qi of Dantian downward to Yongquan point in the soles through coccyx and legs, and go outward to connect with earth. Meanwhile, in the descending of turbid qi, qi follows mind and lower the coccyx, as well as stretch legs downward. Stop for a moment here, and naturally form the "open" situation of Dantian, and qi reaches the feet and hands. Then use the consciousness to "close" Dantian and guide the essence of heaven (qi of heaven) from top to bottom, and the essence of earth (qi of earth) from bottom to top, to return to the Dantian, while qi drives the whole body to relax around the Dantian section by section. And hands fall down by the side of body and hold qi in front of the abdomen. The process of opening and closing, as Quan Jing said, open one and you open them all, and close one and you close them all. The force can reach feet and hands when opening, and qi gather in Dantian when closing. Such a practice method of opening and closing Dantian has coincided with the upward-downward and outward-inward functional activities of qi, which is conducive to regulate the qi movement and promote the circulation of qi and blood. Meanwhile, it is also completely in conformity with the view of unity of heaven and man, which is an effective method for the cultivation of qi.

Thirdly, apply the mind into form and open and close moderately

In the above two steps, exercisers should also apply the mind into form, namely mind concentration the form, pay attention to make accurate form, and combine mind with form, achieving the unity of mind, qi and form, which reinforce each other, help each other forward and mutual transformation. As the ancient health expert said, "Gather mind to generate qi, gather qi to generate essence, reinforce essence to generate qi, and train qi to generate mind". In this way, can the opening and closing of form be proper, and can the upward-downward and outward-inward functional activities of qi be moderate, thus achieving upright form and smooth qi, the unobstructed circulation of qi and blood, and the inseparability of body and spirit, so as to get the training effects of "softening body and harmonizing qi".

In summary, qi movement plays an important role in the practice of Health Qigong. Learning and understanding the movement knowledge of qi, and grasping the law of qi movement are very important to learn Health Qigong.
