Shaking Body Position is the fourth movement of Health Qigong ﹒Da Wu. Shaking, flows the rain, morning sound, its original meaning is that the thunder shakes the heaven and earth; shaking is moving and also starting, it is called shaking because it can shake everything. Extending in meaning, it is called shaking where moves. Body, is the human body, the simplified Chinese character of “Ti”, formed by Gu and Li. Its original meaning is the bones and joints series of the body, the name of twelve categories, among which, head, face and cheek belong to the head category three; shoulder, spine and buttocks belong to the body category three; brachium, arm and hand belong to the hand category three; thigh, shin and foot belong to the foot category three. Through the rhythmic shaking, the dancing body can pleasure the mind and make the body, the exquisite “instrument” orderly shake. Lift up the grip, stretch up and down the middle jiao, and guide the lifting function of spleen, coordinating with tapping gallbladder meridian to send up the yang qi, focusing on nursing spleen and stomach. Tap the lower pubic region and the sacrum, coordinating with twisting middle jiao left and right to shake the lower jiao, so that the qi has been surged to support the vitality. In this way, it will circulate qi, support tendon and move blood in order to improve disease resistance.
I. Route and node of the movement
Movement one: followed by the last action of the stretching waist position, two legs straight, meanwhile, two arms flat side up to be sideward, palm down, fingers outward, coordinating with inhaling, look straight ahead.
Movement two: bending knees, squatting stances, meanwhile, two arms fall from side of the body to about 45 degree, bending elbow, two arms adduct to the same width of the shoulder into arc. Upper arm fall to the lower front to about 45 degree, two palms have the same height with navel, palm up, fingers forward, coordinating with exhaling, look at the palm center.
Movement three: two legs slowly straighten, meanwhile, two hands grip, thumb tip pinch the ring finger inside root, from the little finger to index finger, followed by adduction and grip, closing in front of abdomen, make the face of fist face to face, center of fist up, fist round lightly stick on both sides of the navel, look straight ahead.
Subsequently, the center of gravity moves to the right, left leg bend knee and lift upward to a higher level (vary with each individual, step by step, not be forced). Droop shank, point up toes, meanwhile, two arms spin inside, turn the back of fist about five centimeters, two wrists naturally lift upward, face of fist pass the ears to the top of the head, bend the elbow lightly, make the face of fist face to face, a distance of about 10 centimeters; coordinating with inhaling, look straight ahead.
Movement four: relax the left leg, swing it downward to the back below, about 15 degree behind the vertical line (left foot does not touch the ground at this time); meanwhile, loose the shoulder and drop the elbow, two arms fall down from both sides to the level, then the fists turn into palms, whose center is upward, fingertips are outward. Do not pause the action, two arms make internal rotation and fall down, Hegu point of both sides tap slightly the gallbladder meridian of the centerline of lateral thigh; coordinating with exhaling, look straight ahead.
Left foot step towards the left, to the width wider than shoulders, from the big toe of the foot to the heel, they land in proper order, two legs naturally straighten. Meanwhile, two arms take advantage of a situation to about 45 degree.
Movement five: do not move the feet, turn the body to right to about 45 degree, drive the left arm curve forward to the front median line, the same height with Danzhong point, palm up and grip (while curving, left arm gradually turn outside, slightly bend the elbow); meanwhile, drive the right hand to curve behind the body to the median line, the same height with Mingmen point, palm up and grip (while curving, right arm gradually turn inside, slightly bend the elbow), coordinating with inhaling, look at the left hand.
Movement six: bend the knees of legs and squat to about 30 degree; meanwhile, turn the body upright, loose the shoulder and drop the elbow, left fist round slightly tap the lower pubic region, at the same time, right fist eye slightly tap the sacrum; coordinating with exhaling, look at the front bottom.
Movement seven: two legs slowly straighten, meanwhile, the body turns right to about 90 degree, two fists change into palm, left hand stretch to the right, slightly bend the elbow, palm up to the same height of Danzhong point, fingertips turn right. Right hand stretch to the left, slightly bend the elbow, palm up to the same height of Mingmen point, fingertips turn left, look at the left hand. Subsequently, turn the body upright, drive the left hand passing the right front, front, left front to left, right hand curves passing left back, back, right back to right, two arms sideward, slightly bend the elbow, palm down, fingertips outside, look straight ahead.
Movement eight to Movement thirteen: The same actions from Movement two to Movement seven except for the opposite action.
The whole action contains left and right movement each time, doing it twice.
Following the last move of the second time, two legs slowly straighten, meanwhile, two fists change into palms, left hand turns downward, left, upward; right hand turns downward, right and upward and encircles, fingertips facing each other, palm down; coordinating with inhaling, look straight ahead.
Afterwards, bend the knees of two legs to about 45 degree, meanwhile, two palms press downward, guiding qi and returning to the origin to the same height of navel in front of abdomen, with a distance of ten centimeters, fingertips diagonally face each other; coordinating with exhaling, look at the front bottom.
