NOTICE
All Member Organizations,
In response to a vacancy resulting from the death Mr. LOW Foo Yong, consultant of Qigong Shi Ba Shi Association (Singapore), the 4th meeting of the 2nd Session of the Executive Board of IHQF discussed and agreed by voting to hold a by-election to fill the vacancy of an Executive Board member for Asia in accordance with IHQF Statute and the Election Guidelines.
Candidates for the by-election are limited to the candidates for the Asian members of the Executive Board who failed at the 2016 election held by the General Assembly, plus a candidate recommended by the Qigong Shi Ba Shi Association (Singapore) where Mr. LOW worked (quit for some reason at last).
After the voting of all members of the 2nd Session of the Executive Board, Mr. Eranga WEERASINHGHE, Secretary General of Sri Lanka Health Qigong Association, was elected as the Executive Board member and will serve until August 2020.
